We're getting married!

Willowdale · Kennett Square, Pennsylvania
A little note
Our story begins on April 5, 2025.
We met for the first time at the corner of 23rd and Spruce at a small coffee shop in Philadelphia. We strolled through Fitler Square and chatted for an hour. It only took an hour: I knew, he knew. The very next day we met for brunch at Bob’s diner in Roxborough to seal our fate over pancakes and coffee.
Since then we've gone on a a handful of trips, used up a dozen pairs of running shoes, eaten countless homemade dinners, and shared a million smiles. We're so excited to invite you to join us and everyone we love as we celebrate the beginning of the rest of our life together!

Wander through the grounds, enjoy live music, sip hot cider, and find your seat for the ceremony.
Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outdoors. Please be seated a few minutes early.
The celebration will continue in the on-site banquet hall with brunch, toasts, and mingling.
Join us for cake cutting, the bouquet toss, and a little light dancing.
Step outside to give the newlyweds a joyful send-off!
Kennett Square sits in the rolling countryside of Chester County. Because our venue is a bit tucked away, we've put together some approximate travel times and details to help you plan your weekend.
Willowdale is a newly renovated venue located on the historic Willowdale Steeplechase grounds.
Flying: Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is the closest major airport. It is usually about a 60-minute drive to the venue and hotels; allow up to 75 minutes in heavier traffic.
Driving from Philadelphia or the Main Line: From Center City, plan on about 60 to 75 minutes. From the Main Line, allow about 50 to 65 minutes via US-1 South, depending on traffic.
Taking the Train: The closest major train hub is the Wilmington Amtrak Station (WIL) in Delaware. The drive from the station is typically about 30 to 40 minutes with traffic.
We recommend staying in the Concordville area in one of the following hotels, as we've arranged for group rates and they're a convenient 20-30 minute drive to Willowdale.

Coming in early? Kennett Square and the surrounding Brandywine Valley have plenty to explore. Here are a few of our favorite ways to spend a free afternoon or evening before the wedding.
Kennett Square
One of the best botanical gardens in the country and our first recommendation for visitors. Explore the gardens, conservatories, and fountains during the day, or stay into the evening.
Our wedding weekend coincides with Longwood's Spellbound Weekend, October 23–25, with evening activities and an illuminated fountain performance. Friday and Saturday are both excellent options; timed admission tickets are required, so reserve in advance.
Visit Longwood GardensChadds Ford
A beautiful small museum on the Brandywine River, especially known for its collection of work by Andrew, N.C., and Jamie Wyeth. Guests who want to make more of a visit can also reserve tours of the Wyeth family homes and studios.
Visit the Brandywine MuseumMedia / Newtown Square
One of our favorite places to go for a run (and featured in the camera roll!) The fall foliage is always beautiful.
Explore Ridley Creek State ParkKennett Square
A closer, shorter hiking option with a few miles of easy-to-moderate trails through fields and woods with hilltop views. It is a good choice for an hour or two outside without making a larger excursion.
Explore Stateline WoodsKennett Square
Walk around State Street for coffee, lunch, shops, and a look around town. Kennett Square is known as the Mushroom Capital of the World; guests interested in the local industry can also stop at The Woodlands at Phillips for its free self-guided mushroom exhibit and farm store.
Chadds Ford
A nearby vineyard and tasting room overlooking the Brandywine Valley. It is a good choice for a relaxed Friday or Saturday afternoon, and weekend reservations are worth making in advance.
Visit Penns Woods WineryWinterthur, Delaware
For guests with a little more time, Winterthur is the former du Pont estate, with extensive gardens, grounds, and one of the country's major collections of American decorative arts. This is more of a half-day excursion than a quick stop.

The dress code is wedding formal. We suggest suits and ties for men, and tea-length or floor-length dresses for the ladies.

Children are welcome — please include them in your party size when you RSVP.
The ceremony may be outdoors, weather permitting, with the reception inside the restored barn. Bring a light layer for the autumn afternoon.
Our ceremony will take place outdoors on the grass, and the reception is in a beautifully restored barn. We highly recommend block heels, wedges, or flats, and advise against thin stilettos that might sink into the lawn!
There is complimentary parking on site.
Please arrive by 12:00 so you are seated before the ceremony begins at 12:30.
